Saponin Supplement R&D Services

Saponins are a diverse group of bioactive compounds found in various plant sources, including legumes, herbs, and vegetables.  These compounds are recognized for their potential health benefits, particularly their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which play a significant role in anti-aging applications.

With decades of expertise in aging research, CD BioSciences provides specialized saponin R&D services. By integrating advanced extraction, formulation, and evaluation technologies, we help clients develop saponins with antioxidant and anti-aging properties.

What Types of Saponins Do We Use in Anti-aging Supplement Development?

At CD BioSciences, we support clients in developing supplements with saponins as the primary active ingredients, including ginsenosides, Panax notoginseng total saponin (PNS), soy saponins, and aescin. Our services focus on evaluating the potential anti-aging effects of these saponin supplements through in vitro and in vivo studies, assessing oxidative stress, inflammation, and cellular function, to provide data that inform formulation development and aging research.

Overview of Our Saponin Supplement R&D Services

Extraction and isolation of saponins

CD BioSciences employs advanced extraction techniques to isolate high-purity saponins from plant sources, preserving their bioactive properties for use in anti-aging supplements. Using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, we further concentrate, purify, separate, identify, and characterize extracted saponins.

Formulation development services

We help clients develop customized saponin supplement formulations, including capsules, tablets, and liquids, optimized for bioavailability and anti-aging efficacy. Using in vitro and in vivo models, we evaluate absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion properties, helping clients develop saponin supplements that support longevity and healthy aging.

Evaluation of Antioxidant and Anti-Aging Effects of Saponin Supplements

In vitro studies

We use cell models to investigate whether saponin supplements mitigate oxidative stress and delay cellular senescence. Through antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activity assays, we measure their capacity to scavenge free radicals, enhance antioxidant enzyme activity, and protect cells from oxidative damage. Furthermore, we assess their influence on senescence-associated β-galactosidase activity, inflammatory markers, and aging-related gene expression, offering insights into the molecular mechanisms by which saponin supplements slow down the aging process.

In vivo studies

We administer saponin supplements to animal models of aging to explore their systemic anti-aging benefits. Our experts help clients examine lifespan extension, improvement in mobility and cognitive performance, and maintenance of body weight and organ function. We also evaluate oxidative stress-related biomarkers, inflammatory cytokines, metabolic health indicators, and pathological examinations of key organs affected by aging. Our services support clients in determining how saponin supplements mitigate age-related decline and preserve physiological resilience.

With extensive expertise and rigorous scientific approaches, CD BioSciences supports the development of anti-aging supplements to meet the growing demands of the longevity market. If you are interested in our services, please feel free to contact us or make an online inquiry.
