Global DNA Methylation Assay Kit (5 Methyl Cytosine, Colorimetric) contains all reagents necessary for the quantification of global DNA methylation. The methylated fraction of DNA is detected using capture and detection antibodies and then quantified colorimetrically by reading the absorbance in a microplate spectrophotometer. The percentage of methylated DNA is proportional to the OD intensity measured.

The m6A RNA Methylation Quantification Kit (Colorimetric) is a complete set of optimized buffers and reagents to colorimetrically quantify methylated N6-methyladenosine (m6A) in RNA. It is suitable for a direct detection of m6A RNA methylation status using total RNA isolated from any species such as mammals, plants, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. Be aware that m6A is present in mRNA and ribosomal RNA, and this kit detects m6A in total RNA, i.e. both mRNA and ribosomal RNA and any other RNA containing m6A. The amount of RNA for each assay can be 100 ng - 300 ng. For optimal quantification, the input RNA amount should be 200 ng, as the abundance of m6A is generally less tha 0.1% of total RNA. A methylation-positive control is a must tool for a successful performance of gene methylation studies. Methylated Control DNA Kit provides a methylation-positive control for methylation studies. The kit includes the enzymatically methylated human genomic DNA and all components for DNA modification. Methylated human DNA needs to be modified before it is used as a positive control in MS-PCR. The MeDIP Ultra Kit is a complete set of optimized reagents to enrich and capture methylated DNA fragments in a convenient microplate-based format. The method, methylated DNA immunoprecipitation (MeDIP), uses a monoclonal antibody specific to 5-methylcytosine to immunoprecipitate methylated genomic DNA. The enriched methylated fractions can then be used for gene-specific DNA methylation analysis on a genome wide scale. The highly sensitive and specific format of the kit can use DNA isolated from various species. The methylated DNA that is enriched with this kit can be used for various downstream applications including qualitative and quantitative PCR (MeDIP-PCR), microarray (MeDIP-chip) and especially sequencing (MeDIP-seq). Starting Materials, Input Amount, & Expected Yield The starting material should be good quality purified DNA. The amount of DNA for each reaction can be 50 ng (approximately 10,000 cells) to 500 ng. For an optimal reaction, the input DNA amount should be 100-200 ng per well. The yielded methylated DNA is about 4 ng for 100 ng input DNA (4%), which is consistent with the expected percentage (4-5%) at which the highest sensitivity and specificity for enriched methylated DNA has been demonstrated by bisulfite sequencing.

Histone H3 (di-methyl K4) Quantification Kit (Colorimetric, Circulating) is a convenient package of tools designed to specifically measure circulating dimethyl histone H3K4 (H3K4me2) from biological fluid samples such as plasma and serum from human, mouse or rat. This kit only recognizes H3K4me2 with no cross-reactivity with unmodified H3 or other modifications at the same lysine site. The amount of plasma or serum for each assay can be 10-40 µL with an optimal amount of 30 µL.
